Mission Statement

The Zoology Club is designed to unite CSU students and staff who are interested in the field of zoology. We provide zoological education, field trips, volunteering opportunities and social gatherings. Zoology Club allows students to take time to appreciate organisms, from extant or extinct taxa, that they have been learning about by experiencing them up close and personally or by learning directly from professionals in the zoological field.

Rosie-Grant Hudd

Hello everybody! My name is Rosie and I am a Senior studying Zoology and Conservation Biology on the Pre-Vet track! I have been a member of this club since my freshman year during Fall 2021 and this will be my third year as an officer. I love reading, watching movies, traveling, and hanging out with my leopard gecko! I have experience with wildlife rehabilitation and veterinary medicine as well as working in zoos. I’m looking forward to a great last year in the Zoology Club before I graduate in the spring!

Jessica Garcia

Hey! I am a second-year Zoology student from San Diego, and this is my second year in the club and my first year as an officer. I love hiking/camping, going to the gym crazy early in the morning, listening to a bunch of different music genres, and drinking more caffeine than I’d like to admit. I interned at the San Diego Zoo and worked in climate activism before coming to CSU, and I am now an intern at NOCO Wildlife Center. This club is what we make of it, so let's make it the best year possible!

Hey there! My name is Avery and I am a sophomore studying Zoology here at CSU. This is my second year involved with the Zoology Club and my first year as an officer! I am an out of state student from Illinois, and I’m lucky enough to have a local zoo at home where I work as part of the animal care team! I love animals, going out for coffee, coloring, swimming and traveling everywhere! I can’t wait for a great year with the Zoology Club!!

Hi everyone! My name is Sydney and I am a junior from Colorado Springs. I am studying Zoology with a minor in Mathematical Biology, and this is my second year in the club and first as an officer. My hobbies include riding my horse, paddleboarding, and playing the double bass. I have experience working with horses as well as ambassador animals at Cheyenne Mountain Zoo and cervids with Colorado Parks and Wildlife. I am looking forward to a great year!

Hey rams! I am a senior with majors in Zoology and Wildlife Conservation Biology, with a minor in American Sign language. This is also my fourth year being involved in the zoology club and second year on the officer team! I love hiking, scuba diving, going to the gym, and plants! This summer I got a cool opportunity to travel abroad in Africa. I love traveling! I am so excited to dive into what zoology is all about with you all!
